Privacy Policy

How we handle your information — clearly and honestly.

Last updated: June 2026

At Evolve Practice Academy, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Irish and EU data protection law — including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

In plain language: We collect information when you contact us, sign up to our newsletter, or use our website. We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use our site, and Mailchimp to send our newsletter. We will never sell your data, and you are always in control of what you share with us.

Who we are

For the purposes of GDPR, we are the data controller in respect of any personal data we hold about you.

What information we collect

Contact form

When you complete our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your enquiry. This data is sent to us by email and stored in our inbox.

Newsletter sign-up

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address via Mailchimp. We use this to send you updates, news, and information about our workshops and services. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email we send.

Website analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use our website. This involves the collection of data including your IP address (anonymised), browser type, pages visited, time spent on the site, and how you arrived (e.g. via a search engine or a link). This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

Google Analytics uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to collect this information. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies for the following purposes:

  • Analytics cookies — set by Google Analytics to help us understand site usage (as described above)
  • Functional cookies — used to remember your preferences and settings

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings at any time. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the site.

Legal basis for processing

Under GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:

  • Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries submitted via our contact form or by email
  • Consent — for newsletter sign-ups and the use of analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and questions
  • Send you our newsletter, if you have subscribed
  • Understand how people use our website so we can improve it
  • Communicate with you about our workshops, events, and services

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Third-party services

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics, provided by Google LLC. Data collected through Google Analytics may be transferred to and stored on servers in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. You can review Google's privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy.

Mailchimp

Our newsletter is managed through Mailchimp, provided by The Rocket Science Group LLC. If you subscribe, your name and email address will be stored on Mailchimp's servers, which may be located outside the EEA. Mailchimp complies with GDPR and applicable data transfer regulations. You can review their privacy policy at mailchimp.com/legal/privacy.

How long we keep your data

  • Contact form / email enquiries — retained for as long as necessary to manage our relationship with you, typically up to two years
  • Newsletter subscribers — retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you
  • Analytics data — retained in Google Analytics for 14 months by default

If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so promptly unless we have a legal obligation to retain it.

Your rights

Under Irish and EU data protection law, you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your personal data
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we process your data in certain circumstances
  • Objection — object to processing where we rely on legitimate interests
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please email us at hello@evolvepracticeacademy.ie. We will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Commission (DPC), the supervisory authority for data protection in Ireland.

We would always welcome the chance to resolve any concern directly — please do reach out to us first.
